After a long battle with the doctors to get an MRI Scan on my knee I finally got referred to Mr Acharya, he was very accommodating and quick to see me. I had my first appointment in July 2023 and I got the call to go for my operation in September unfortunately I was away on the provided date however for an nhs patient to have an appointment so soon I thought was amazing. I was offered an alternative date of December however due to illness this had to be moved to February. The operation its self was superb I was very scared about being put to sleep however Mr Acharya and his anesthetist were wonderful in calming me down explaining every thing that was going to happen and that I would be awake in no time. After almost 4 years I can finally straighten my knee fully and get on the floor to play with my children. I can not fault the service from Mr Acharya especially with being an nhs patient. If I was to ever have a problem with my knee again I would not hesitate in paying to go private just so that I could have Mr Acharya again. Thank you for everything.

Mr Acharya is an excellent professional who takes great care of his patients. He explains things well and I always felt confident that I was receiving the best possible care when having one hip and both knees replaced by him. I would certainly recommend him to anyone requiring the procedures that he carries out.

I have had 2 knee replacements with Mr Acharya , the first was under medical insurance and recently under the NHS as I have now retired. Both occasions was at the Spire Hospital and on both occasions the care was exemplary. The surgery was performed on both occasions first rate. Mr Acharya is a gentleman who listens to his patients. He inspires confidence and helps to minimise anxiety. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Acharya for his first rate skills as a surgeon. His manner on which he deals with patients. He is approachable and will willingly explain all aspects of your procedure. You are in a safe pair of hands. Thankyou

Mr. Acharya was informative, efficient and courteous without being patronising or condescending. I had both total knee replacements approximately eight months apart. the first as a private patient and the second through the NHS. The outcome from both was excellent. The procedures could not have gone better and the after care was faultless.

Mr Acharya gave full explanations as to all the aspects of care I would receive for my hip replacement. He was extremely reassuring and alleviated all my apprehensions about the procedure. On the Operation day I saw Mr Acharya before and after the Surgery, everything went so smoothly and I was soon back in my room, everything happened just as he had explained.
