Having worked with Mr Soni closely for almost a year as his registrar, I can confidently say that he is as kind to patients as he is technically gifted. Mr Soni's background in sports medicine gives him an innate understanding of any joint he works on, particularly the knee. Whether it is joint replacements or ligament and meniscal surgery, all of his patients invariably do very well indeed. Beyond looking after his patients, Mr Soni also has a lead role in training other surgeons such as myself and medical students too. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Soni to any patient that may require his care.

In addition to being a great technician in his craft, Dr Soni is a humanist at heart. This makes allows him to share the deepest empathy with his patients which is sorely lacking in many surgeons. I was absolutely safe and secure in the very able hands of Dr Soni. Under his guidance, I feel stronger and more fit than before my injury. I am convinced he is one of the more expert hip and knee specialists in the world.

I visited a couple of doctors and hospitals before finally feeling comfortable in the care of Dr. Soni at Homerton Hospital. He is easy to talk to and very reassuring; taking the time to fully explain the nature of my injury and encouraging me to ask questions. I always felt like I had Dr. Soni's undivided attention and never felt rushed. I felt I could trust Dr. Soni with my procedure (ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair) and my follow-up appointment with him was also very positive.
