I was recommended to contact Mr. Gupta to get advice regarding a Hernia that had developed very quickly. I did so with a call to his secretary and from the moment she answered I felt comfortable, relaxed and easy. The initial appointment with him was arranged speedily and in a very 'easy to talk' environment. An inguinal hernia and small aneurysm were diagnosed and an operation date for an open mesh repair was arranged with St Anthony's Hospital. Mr Gupta was there to talk pre-op and after recovery which helped me relax and explaining in simple terms what I should expect for the next month. Finally, after 4 weeks he was there again to assess progress. Thank you

From initial consultation thru being discharged, Mr Gupta provided great care, service and is clearly an expert in his field. I had two open Hernia Operations (Inguinal and Umbilical) with Mr Gupta and they have healed very well.

I would like to take this opportunity to comment on the excellent care I have received over the past three years form Mr Ashish Gupta, Laparoscopic General and Correctal Surgeon, and his team. In the summer of 2022 I had to receive emergency surgery which resulted in the removal of my colon and cancer-related investigations. The care, professionalism and expertise of Mr Gupta and his colleagues were outstanding. At what were often very challenging times, I was made to feel like I was their only patient by the way they took an interest in me personally and guided me with wise advice regarding the best way forward. They were clearly a well-led and much valued team. I always felt listened-to and a relationship of mutual trust quickly developed. Over the past three years, careful monitoring led to a key decision being made to undertake complex follow-up surgery. I felt very well informed and prepared and appreciated that urology specialists were also asked to be involved. The surgery itself was lengthy and required considerable aftercare in Epsom hospital during the recovery period. This was excellent in every way. I was supported very much as an individual. This week, when I met Mr Gupta to ‘sign off’, it seemed like the end of a journey together where his evident pride and pleasure with how successfully matters had progressed matched my own delight with how much better I felt and how confidently I could look ahead to the future. Thank you!

Mr Gupta is an amazing specialist and highly recommended. He has totally resolved my anus pain issues which were extreme by removing polyps, anal skin tags and treating fissures/haemorroids He listened to my issues from the first appointment and despite the pain after the surgery for 4 weeks, I am now pain free with no issues at all. I should say that prior to the surgery the pain was also extreme where even sitting was uncomfortable and was affecting my daily life. I will be forever grateful to Mr Gupta for what he has done to resolve my pain issues.
