After lengthy NHS delays in getting to see an ENT Consultant, I brought in Benenden Health Care to escalate private treatment for deafness, nose bleeds, and sinus problems. What a relief to meet Mr Qayyum, who instantly put me at ease, and addressed all my "issues" over a relatively short space of time, with tact, understanding and professional care. He resolved the deafness immediately, and did not make me feel stupid when it was revealed that a cottonwool bud was the self-inflicted cause! He is very thorough in his investigations, with further hearing tests, CT scan, and cauterisation. The scan revealed a dental problem, and he provided documentation and advice for me to take follow up action with my dentist. My dentist was appreciative of the support from Mr Qayyum, and sought his advice on concerns she had about my lymph glands. Mr Qayuum instantly investigated, and was able to reassure both me and my dentist that all was well. Right from the start of my meetings with Mr Qayyum, I noticed that he was not as stuffy as some medical Consultants can be, and he was happy to listen and provide advice and care. I left his surgeries feeling pleased with his treatment; understanding what was wrong, and how he was going to be able to repair and fix it. You can be confident that Mr Qayyum knows what he is doing, and will reassure you throughout. He has time for you - a rare attribute in this age of rush.
