I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr Arunmoy Chakravorty at Spire Hospital for the exceptional care he provided during one of the most frightening moments of my life. Being diagnosed with breast cancer at just 33, with two young babies was a huge shock, but from the very first appointment, he made me feel welcome, reassured, and truly supported. Mr Chakravorty guided me through every step with compassion, clarity, and confidence. He explained everything in a way that made the unknown feel less overwhelming, always taking the time to answer my questions and ensure I felt safe and informed. The speed and quality of care I received were remarkable. From diagnosis to having my cancer removed in just four weeks, I knew I was in the best hands possible. His professionalism, skill, and kindness made an unbearable situation so much more manageable. I cannot thank Mr Chakravorty enough. He is a credit to his profession, and I will always be grateful for the care and comfort he provided during such a challenging time. Although, the journey isn’t over I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m confident this will all be a distant memory in the near future. I saw the breast consultant today and was very impressed. He was kind, efficient, thorough, and professional. He made me feel reassured and well looked after.

Going through something like having breast cancer is scary! Having Mr Chakravotory as my consultant made a great difference. When I went for my first appointment he showed empathy, was easy to talk with, listened to me and answered my questions and dealt with my concerns. He made the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the whole process. I have seen Mr Chakravotory for the past 5 years and have reached the positive milestone of being cancer free. During this period he has never rushed through my appointments, provided me with amazing care and showed genuine care towards my well being. I would highly recommend Dr Chakravoty as he is not not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm and compassionate.

Mr Chakravorty instantly put me at my ease. He was thorough and reassuring throughout. I felt I had the best possible care.

I had an appointment at the breast clinic with Dr Chakravorty. The first thing he said to me was if I was comfortable with him doing the breast examination or not as there were no female doctors. I kindly declined that I am not comfortable. His reaction was highly rude and offensive. He accused me of being sexist, wasting precious NHS time and was shouting why my GP reffered me to this hospital as there are no female doctors at the breast clinic. He even said NHS is a free service and I cannot be picky. He tried to pressurise me to have the examination from him by saying that he checks 3000 patients and that he he can check me and I can have the scan and be sent off quickly. This behaviour was highly unprofessional, uncalled for and wrong. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. Instead of supporting the patient, he was demeaning my decision.

I cannot thank Mr Chakravorty enough for his skill, dedication and attention to detail and excellent result after my single breast reduction one month ago. This was undertaken for symmetry after he performed a SMX just over two years ago. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone. He is truly a miracle worker and truly deserves the award for the iwantgreatcare certificate of excellence 2024

I went to see Dr Chakravorty today after finding a lump in my right breast. Any such appointment is daunting but Dr Chakravorty was kind, professional, efficient and immediately reassuring. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
