I went to Arun whilst having bad colorectal problems. I initially found those problems to be really hard to talk about, because they are quite embarrassing. However, Dr S had an incredibly supportive manner in the way he deals with his patients; everything became easy to talk about, he was sympathetic and insightful and put me at ease instantly. He explained the process in great depth, and didn't hurry me in any way at all to make any choices. Eventually I opted for a small surgical procedure and because of Dr S, it was the most effortless procedure I've ever undertaken. I'm usually very wary about any type of surgery, but his incredible technical skill shone through at every step. I had a minor issue with my painkillers, and Dr S actually took his own time, on his own prerogative, to come to the hospital late at night to solve the problem. He went above and beyond. I have dealt with quite a few private doctors in my time, but Dr Shanmuganandan is by far the best. Knowledgeable, compassionate, extremely skilled, and great with people. I couldn't possibly recommend him higher.

I was totally put at ease from the outset of my first consultation with Mr. Shanmuganandan. His approachable nature made it easy to discuss the sensitive medical issues I was experiencing. He thoroughly explained himself throughout all our consultations and ensured I understood what was going on at all times during the my procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Shanmuganandan.
