Mr Loganathan was my surgeon for major bowel surgery in July 22. I noticed and appreciated the extra effort, made by Mr Loganathan and his colleagues, to ensure that I was well informed and actively involved in the decision making process. I was always given time to consider the options and he always asked how I felt after our discussions. I was very reassured by his professional and kind manner. Excellent communication skills are clearly of great importance to him, and this filters down through his team. I recovered quickly from my operation, which I consider to be a testament to his excellent surgical skills. What could have been a very difficult time was made so much easier by so many positives.

All I can say about Mr Loganathan is that he is simply the best, as a patient I was really scared but this great man always put me at ease. I cannot praise him enough for what he did for me, he was always very informative and answered all my worries and concerns. Mr Loganathan I hope you see this review, as once again a massive thank you. Kind Regards Gary Keeting

From first diagnosis of bowel cancer, through pre-operation checks, the operation itself and the immediate recovery period everything was done rapidly, efficiently, with care and consideration. Mr Loganathan explained everything clearly and answered all questions in an understandable way. The procedure was "keyhole" done robotically and my recocery period was much quicker than anticipated. Mr Loganathan is clearly a skilled surgeon with mastery of modern techniques. I can find no fault with the service and treatment that I received. Most importantly it probably saved my life. A very sincere thank you to all involved!!!

Very clear and concise when communicating, friendly approachable and answered my questions thoroughly. Contacted my wife immediately after my surgery to update her on the outcome which was very helpful and thoughtful. I felt at ease during consultations and clinics. Did not waver from telling as it was which I think is very necessary. The most difficult thing was dealing with the waiting between scans and getting results, if the length of time could be shortened this would be very positive. Secretary Steph Allen always helpful and delivered what she said she would do. Only negative thing. The letter which was sent asking me to take part in the survey spelt my name incorrectly. It seems to be a Sheffield thing and it happens quite often. Nonetheless in a hospital setting very important to get the correct patient.
