Did a great job, was professional and supportive.
A huge massive thank you to Mr. Loganathan and your team.
Where would we be without a surgeon like you.
I would probably living a shorter life.
Saying thank you never seems to be enough, that's why we do
give regularly to cancer research.
I believe my experience was a very positive one and my best interests were always in Mr Loganathan mind .
Arun listened to what I was saying and all questions were answered fully.
He presents as a well knowledge surgeon and is a calm and caring in his manner.
He explained what he would advise as best for me and i went with his advice .he was always friendly and professional . He visited me on the ward after the surgury to check all had gone as expected and i was ok and asked if i had any further questions.
Dr Loganathan had visited me before the surgury to see how i was feeling and checked on me after.
He is a likeable and approachable man who i found to be calm engaging and having a good interest in me as a patient.
He made next steps referrals when he said he would and i had the scans around the same times he said i would .
Individually a great deal of respect is given to Dr Loganathan as i believe he was instrumental in treating my cancer with respect and having me at the center of his work whilst under his care.
Very caring ,good communication pre and post op.Saw mr. Loganathan or one of his registrars every day in hospital. All the ward staff were very caring and attentive.COULDNT HAVE WISHED FOR BETTER CARE .now in the care of his colorectal nursing team ,for 5 years follow up,and have had a named nurse from the beginning. We are so fortunate to have this very dedicated team,in spite of the NHS staff shortages ,and the pressure of working with this.Cant thank you all enough.
I was transferred from Calow Royal and was a bit apprehensive . Never had an operation before and was worried. Dr Loganathan was brilliant with me . Answered all my questions despite some probably not relevant as I had no idea . Always kept me informed along with the assistance of Professor Sanders . Let me know what to expect and always felt I was being treated well and updated so I knew what was going on.
On day of operation he came to see me before the operation to again let me know what was happening and to reassure me . Special mention to Helen Ellis the anaesthetist who was superb as she could tell I was worried. She was there with me all the time before a was put under and I can’t praise her enough.
When I got back on the recovery ward the nurses were fantastic on Firth ward 4 . Mentions to a head nurse Charlotte and some young girl called Eden who were brilliant .
All in all I have been very impressed and pleased with the treatment I have received and can’t thank you enough.
