Dr Imbuldeniya performed my hip replacement operation in October. Brilliant! His gentle relaxed manner made me feel totally at ease, which i'm sure contributed to my quick recovery. I love the fact that, under his care, there are far fewer restrictions on post op recovery, i.e. not being told to sleep on your back for the first 6 weeks! He seems a genuinely likeable man, as well as an excellent surgeon. There was a peaceful sense of calm in the ward, (Syon 2), which was also therapeutic. Thank you so much.

Dr.Imbuldeniya specialises in using Computer assisted Technology in Knee Replacement surgery. I am glad that I had my surgery under the care of by Dr. Imbuldeniya and his dedicated team, in October 2018. I had an amazing recovery! Ever since I became his patient, I received excellent care, and he enthusiastically explained the treatment options available. And when I finally decided to have the surgery, he was very supportive , and I felt reassured.

After 12 years of attending hospitals, numerous painkillers etc I was finally referred to Mr Imbuldeniya (osteoporosis in right hip) - who agreed I wasn’t too ‘young’ and he would carry out replacement (I’m 57). I was admitted on 22 Aug and discharged on 23 Aug after receiving a new hip! The care and attention from the surgery team and the physio was amazing. I cannot thank Mr Imbuldeniya enough - this operation is truly life changing. The follow up care was also excellent and after just over two months I have been completely discharged. I can not recommend Mr Imbuldeniya highly enough - if you are look for an understanding, enthusiastic consultant then do yourself a massive favour and get an appoint with him and his team!

Having been told that I was too young for a hip replacement by my GP and physio, I was very pleasantly surprised to be taken seriously by this doctor. He agreed to give me a new hip.in the following year I was still having pain and eventually had to have more surgery. In that year he didn't give up and has put things right. I feel his relaxed way of talking with me was a great help. I would also like to Praise all the staff for their excellent care they gave me on Syon 2. As busy as they were ( and often not treated well by patients) nothing was too much trouble for them. Well done everyone.
