dr desai explained in 'easy to understand' detail what my options were on having rotator cuff surgery, showing me photos and drawings to help me understand. he was friendly and i felt totally informed on everything starting from my scans, all the way to seeing me an hour or so before my surgery. the surgery went very well and was very neat, i can hardly see the tiny scars from where he went into my shoulder. its now around 5 weeks and i have just seen him again as he wanted to see how i was getting along. we are both pleased with my progress and i am currently undergoing physio. i would definitely recommend dr desai for anyone considering having an operation.

Suffered with shoulder pain for many years tried physio had a steroid injection nothing improved the pain . Met up with surgeon Dr Desai he told me it needed operating on as it was in a very bad way. Very informative on procedure etc all staff involved very professional pre op done in late Oct 22 and op done in Jan 23 . All went really well and I’m still gaining movement back , still doing physio . I would recommend Dr Desai and his team highly all very professional kind and informative .

I cannot fault the care received from Mr Desai and his team. Everything was clearly explained and great care was taken by the anaesthetist to ensure I was fit for my procedure. All staff at every point of my care have been professional and caring. I have definitely been made to feel like an individual, not a number. Thank you to everyone

Mr Aravind Desai is a lovely caring consultant who made me feel so relaxed. Listed to what I had to say and gave me time to ask questions. He explained everything very well and what the options were for the tear in my shoulder. Having been told surgery was the only option he went through what I could expect and what the outcome should be. Not rushed into making a decision and gave me time to digest what he had said. From going into the hospital for surgery I was treated with great care and respect. Everything was explained step by step. From surgery to aftercare everything was top class. I had a phone call from the hospital to make sure I was feeling ok and had I any concerns. After care has been brilliant on my follow up appointments. Again given time to ask questions about any concerns I had. Physiotherapist has been amazing and so positive with my progress. I can recommend Mr Aravind Desai so highly so professional and caring. He has certainly given me my life back and I’m pain free.
