I saw Mr Andy Pay when I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. He explained the pending surgery so clearly, drawing little diagrams, allowing me to photograph the 3 pages with my mobile so I could digest them at home. On the day of the operation, Mr Pay came to see me and reassured me that I would be in good hands. He said if I gave him my daughter’s phone number, he would call her when the surgery was over. When he did ring, he had a long conversation with her which was very reassuring for her.
I was expecting to have had a patch of skin removed from my thigh to patch where the melanoma was removed but Mr Pay managed to stitch me up without doing plastic surgery!! What a relief! I have seen Mr Pay since surgery and he is very pleased with his handiwork! My journey through the treatment for cancer was straightforward and I was impressed by Mr Pay’s expertise, humour and friendliness. Nothing could have been improved.
