Couldnt recommend more highly. Dr Pickersgill was extremely professional, knowledgeable and put my mind at ease through everything. I had a number of procedures and he looked after me perfectly. I felt in very safe hands. I never felt any appointments were ever rush and he always allowed me the time to ask and many questions as I needed to! Thank you so much

I cannot recommend Andrew Pickersgill too highly . I underwent a (laparoscopic) total hysterectomy at the end of October 2022 after several , to put it mildly, miserable years. The level of understanding , consideration, care, and dignity afforded to me by Andrew and his team was exemplary along with his compassion and understanding. Andrew's top grade surgical skills meant that my recovery was swift , with little discomfort and without complication. I shall not forget him placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder just before I was given the general anaesthetic to check I was coping. Do not hesitate to gain the benefit of this surgeon's expertise. I should have done it years ago. I now have a new lease of life. I know that is an old and over used saying - but in my case it is very true.

Mr Pickersgill was very friendly and approachable and put me at ease straight away. I am an anxious person and was particularly worried about recurrent cancer but Mr Pickersgill reassurred me that he would do his best and help if any further investigations or treatment was needed. Luckily it wasn't but it was nice to know that there would be a plan in place. I had total confidence in my consultant and had no pain or repercussions after my procedure and would certainly contact him again if i had any further issues. I could not have wished for better care.

Well where do I start ? This surgeon is absolutely amazing. I searched for a surgeon that specialises in hysterectomies, endometriosis and fibroids. Thank goodness I found Andy Pickersgill, he has changed my life completely. ( in a positive way) After our initial Skype consultation I new that my problems were going to be resolved, I just had a very positive experience from the start. From our initial meeting in December 2022, an examination, and a MRI Scan, I am now in recovery from a very successful laparoscopy procedure for a total hysterectomy, removal of fibroids and removal of severe endometriosis. The Alex Hospital, Cheadle care was amazing. Thank you to all of the staff there too. The whole process was seamless, I cannot thank him enough and would recommend ANDY PICKERSGILL to anyone that requires help within his field of surgery. He is the only professional who has listened, asked questions, and resolved my serious discomfort for sometime. Before speaking to Andrew I honestly thought I was going crazy, as nobody seemed to be listening to my issues and couldn't give me any answers. He just new straight away what my issues were and these were all confirmed with an MRI SCAN. Thank you, thank-you thank-you Mr Pickersgill. I must also mentioned his PA Gabby, who was very responsive and prompt with any questions I had. Thank you, Gabby.
