Mr Pickersgill operated on me earlier this year. Pre Op discusions were very helpful as he covered the options and possible side effects. The Operation went well. I would definitely recommend him.

Well where can I start, what an absolute diamond of a consultant, I cannot thank Mr Picklesgill enough for his care. I was under a consultant for 16years and after their retirement, I seeked for an endometriosis specialist and luckily found Mr Picklesgill. I had surgery with him on 06/02/2024, the care and compassion shown by Mr Picklesgill was phenomenal. He really cared about how I felt and held my hand through it all. I would highly recommend Mr Picklesgill, especially if you’re a nervous patient like I was.

I have seen Mr Pickersgill on numerous occasions for the diagnosis of irregular bleeding during menopause. He has a lovely manner; calm, kind and considerate. He is also very knowledgable and I felt so reassured by his advice. He performed a hysteroscopy on me to see what was going on and he and the nurses who were present were just brilliant! I was really frightened of having this procedure but Dr Pickersgill put me at ease and the procedure was painless and not at all traumatic. I would not hesitate in recommending him and would certainly book an appointment to see him again if I had any further issues. Thank you!

I saw Dr Pickersgill with regards to fibroids after waiting nearly a year for an NHS clinic appointment. My symptoms were becoming unmanageable. He was very kind and listened carefully to me and understood my concerns about having an operation. He arranged the necessary tests quickly and explained the treatment options and possible risks and benefits very clearly. My surgery went well and I felt very well cared for by the whole team on the day. Mr Pickersgill saw me straight away after the surgery and explained what he had done. I was sore after such a big op but it was a lot easier to manage knowing why and where I would be sore and that nothing had gone wrong. I have now recovered and am pain free. Have even been able to start back at the gym and go running again! Many thanks to Dr Pickersgill, his secretary and the theatre team for your excellent care. I have already recommended you to a colleague with similar symptoms and will continue to do so.

In reflecting on my experience with Andrew, it’s exceptionally refreshing to have a doctor who doesn’t resort to gaslighting. From our initial consultation through surgery and the subsequent aftercare, Andrew has been a consistent breath of fresh air. His remarkable listening skills and exceptional bedside manners set him apart. Navigating the delicate balance between being a skilled surgeon and possessing exceptional social skills is, in my experience, rare to find in the medical field. Andrew, however, excels at both with remarkable proficiency. Thanks again, Andrew, for all your hard-work that you do.
