Amazing. I had arthritis in my right cmc thumb joint which was causing a great deal of pain and despite taking painkillers and applying jels it was keeping me awake at night. My GP refered me to Mr Hacker who assured me an operation to replace the joint would resolve the problem. He explained the procedure in great detail (clearly very passionate about what he has to offer) and I felt comfortable to continue. The operation went ahead and I was discharged the same day with very little post op pain requiring no pain relief. I am now one month post op and have full movement of the thumb with no pain at all and having a good night's sleep.
