Mr Goldberg is a talented surgeon who I believe to one of the best foot and ankle surgeons around in the United Kingdom. He will listen to your needs, converse in a professional manner and offer a care pathway that is tailored to your needs.
However, my experience has thus been that until his Registrar wrote to my GP and categorically called me a liar, yet somehow he couldn't see that? Having been to the RNOH twice, a round trip of 450 each time I was rather bemused by the letter.
Since this time I have been left in limbo with two DVT one of which has been scanned by the RNOH and one I paided for privately under the care of another hospital. All in all I discharged myself from the care of his Registrar, not Mr Goldberg. After three wound infections, severe swelling and the danger of losing Physiotherapy input.
In my experience as an ex healthcare professional, I would consider the above if you are having treatment at the RNOH. Even though at the time I was greatful, when you examine the time line and events that happened then I would think carefully

Whilst we appreciate and respond to all feedback, this is a very unfair set of comments as the registrar (trainee surgeon) in question is a highly diligent and excellent doctor and went out of her way to try and help this patient and certainly never called a patient a liar nor inferred so. The patient has been offered opportunities to attend for emergency appointments which he declined because he was overseas and hence none of the claims in this message have been verified. Our entire team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital deliver excellent and high quality care and within the contains of a busy NHS and listen carefully to all feedback and where appropriate make relevant changes.
