Yesterday Andrew did bleb needling procedure on my eyes. Originally it was just going to be my one eye but after checking both my eyes before surgery he asked me could he do both eyes. I will admit I was nervous but he talked me through it which made me have trust in him. He even said if he was in my shoes he would have both done himself and I could tell he genuinely meant it and cared about my well-being. I felt safe in his hands and I would again if he had to do more surgery on my eyes.

I have been a patient at the eye clinic at the Gwent for many years having attended the unit at St Woolss beforehand. What a difference this man has made, a true professional who has not lost touch with the real world. In addition to an exceptional bedside manner his skills and professionalism have brought a standard of eye care to Gwent that the rest of the UK can only dream about. If you get offered an opportunity to see Andrew do not miss it as his skill and knowledge can only improve your condition and understanding of it.
