The first time I met Mr Carrothers he inspired me with confidence and on each subsequent visit explained to me clearly and concisely what the problem was and his recommendation for treatment. All my questions were answered and all my fears and concerns addressed and I had a total hip replacement in January 2023, it has given me my life back, The operation was a complete success and the follow up treatment and consultation totally profession. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Carrothers to anyone who needs Orthopaedic treatment or surgery.

Seems I am so lucky (again!) to have had Andrew Carrothers recently replace my left hip by Mako Robotic surgery. As he knows I am the lucky guy cos I've outlived 'by decades' my brother my previous wife and very recently what was my current wife all of whom died young from the dreaded disease. To reiterate. Luck was with me again when Andrew Carrothers was recommended to me who I found apart from a being a brilliant renowned orthopedic surgeon helped me emotionally to cope with the challenge of having surgery very soon after the death of my wife. I can only add I am so very pleased with what AC did for and how much he has helped me to become physically fit again.

Dr Carrothers replaced both my hips in the course of three years. Both operations went very well and I recovered very quickly.

I can't speak highly enough about this doctor. He did an excellent job on my knee. I was straight back to work.. 3 months on, no pain, full mobility. You are lucky if you get this guy.

This is my second review as I am now a year down the road from my knee replacement and couldn't be happier with the care I have received and the outcome from my surgery. I was very young to have a joint replacement but my quality of life was severely restricted. I am now back to leading a full and active life and have resumed all my activities that had been put on hold - even to the extent of being confident that I will enjoy my skiing holiday in a few weeks time. The decision to have the surgery was not taken lightly but with Mr Carrother's surgical expertise and my commitment to recovery I am confident that we made the right decision and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to others.
