I was lucky enough to be referred to Mr Carrothers by my local circle MSK. I was given a consultation, where I was thoroughly appraised and given all the options available to me. I was booked in for an Arthroscopy to repair the two tears in my knee meniscus within a few weeks.
The operation consisted of two keyhole incisions through which the necessary repairs were carried out. The whole thing was completed in an afternoon at Spire Cambridge where the standards of care were excellent.
Apart from some swelling and stiffness in the knee I had practically no pain.
Mr Carrothers was friendly, took time to explain everything and, most importantly, the standard of his work is exemplary. The scars have all but disappeared, the swelling is going down and the mobility is gradually improving.
Should I need this kind of treatment in the future I will certainly be looking up Andrew Carrothers availability.
