Mr Marando is an excellent doctor, with lovely manners, who genuinely cares about his patients. He was completely honest in his assessment when he first met my daughter, gave her hope that he could help her, and then delivered on his promise due to his incredible surgical skills. My daughter’s open rhinoplasty has resulted in a beautiful and natural looking nose; Mr Marando has a great eye, so the alterations he has made fit well with her other facial features. He has a dedicated team around him, both at Star Clinic and HCA Wilmslow, and everyone involved has worked hard to help my daughter achieve her goal. I would recommend Mr Marando without hesitation.

I’m not really sure where to begin with how wonderful Mr Marando and his team are and what an honour and privilege it’s been to be looked after by them. I booked an appointment and upon meeting him, he exceeded all my expectations. Mr Marando has a really calming aura, his manners are impeccable and he was extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. It’s evident that he’s dedicated his life to ensuring he is an expert in his field. Mr Marando has been absolutely exceptional throughout (before, during and after surgery). I knew that I was in the very best of hands with him, and he is an incredibly gentle and respectful surgeon. He genuinely takes care of you and wants the best outcome for each patient. My recovery has been amazing. Of course a week on, I’m still resting and taking things easy, but I’m doing so well – much better than I’ve ever done after surgery (I’ve not even needed pain relief!), and I believe that’s down to Mr Marando’s meticulous care and skill. Every person I have spoken to speaks so highly of him, from his past patients to medical staff who’ve worked with him. And deservedly so. There are surgeons, great surgeons, incredible surgeons… and then there is Mr Marando. My husband and I both think Mr Marando is an absolutely incredible, both as a surgeon and for the person he is. His attention to detail, knowledge and skills are phenomenal and he is exceptionally humble, kind and a real ‘gentle’ man. He really takes care of his patients and wants the best for each one of them. You start your journey as his patient, but you leave it feeling like you are a friend. He’s more than a surgeon, he’s an amazing person and I trust and respect him immensely. I felt in such safe hands at all times and his bedside manner is first class. He is immensely skilled, meticulous, professional, knowledgeable and an incredibly dedicated and immensely hardworking surgeon. I would never go to anyone else. Mr Marando and his team supported and looked after me so well from start to finish and I will never be able to thank them all enough. If you are looking for an exceptionally skilled surgeon who is kind, genuine, outstanding, and professional, combined with being honest, having a wealth of knowledge and an incredible eye for detail, Mr Marando is your man. A week on from surgery, to say he’s changed my life would be an understatement. Not just physically, but psychologically. I feel like my future is bright (it hadn’t felt like that for many years), and all I’ve felt since my surgery is overwhelming peace, gratitude, and happiness on a level that no words are able to convey. While I am still a bit swollen and bruised, the results are absolutely incredible. I look like how I used to… which is more than I could have ever wished for. Mr Marando is an incredibly genuine and hardworking professional… a skilled surgeon and true artist. Every once in a while, you meet someone who’s light shines so brightly, they leave a lifelong impression on you. And Mr Marando is that person. The gratitude I have for him is, and always will be immeasurable.
