I had had rather radical eyelid surgery which I wanted reversed. I opted to have a combination of private op then back into nhs. He would have been happy to do it all nhs but I didn’t want to wait as my vision was impaired. Me Litwin exudes calm, he listens and explains well and he did the reversal with minimal fuss and great speed. The result is a much improved look and field of vision.

Mr Litwin provided excellent care. He explained my options and the implications of each allowing me to make an informed decision about my treatment. Treatment was prompt, during surgery again each step was explained. This provided reassurance and helped reduce stress. Post operative was was thoroughly explained & follow up appointments made before leaving the hospital. All correspondence has been clear sent in hard copies to myself and GP l. I highly recommend Mr Litwin, I felt I was in safe and well informed hands.

Mr Litwin was very knowledgeable throughout my consultation and procedure and ensured I had realistic expectations. The risks were explained to me and the procedure, during my consultation and I felt at ease, well informed and confident that Mr Litwin could produce the outcome I was looking for. The procedure itself, was quick, pain free and I felt relaxed and well informed throughout. Mr Litwin explained step by step what was happening and gave detailed instruction regarding aftercare. The procedure was a complete success and I could not be more satisfied with the end result.

Mr Litwin carried out a thorough examination of my eyes. He is caring, friendly and professional. He came to see me prior to the procedure advising when it was expected to be carried out. During the procedure he kept me informed of what was happening, which was most reassuring. The experience was gentle and kind. I have now had both cataracts removed successfully, and the outcome excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Litwin for Ophthalmology.

I saw Mr Litwin for cataract surgery on both eyes. The second eye being done 2 weeks after the first. I found him and his team to be very kind and reassuring. Mr Litwin explains everything clearly and has a kind, caring and reassuring manner. I wear hearing aids and he and the staff made sure I could wear one hearing aid during the procedure so I could clearly hear what was being said. During the actual procedures he talked me through what was happening and how well everything was going. This really helped me as I have dry eyes and light sensitivity and found staring into a bright light somewhat difficult. However despite this both surgeries went well and I have gone from needing varifocal glasses all the time to only needing "off the peg" weak reading glasses for bad light or particularly tricky small print. I am very pleased with the results of my eye surgery.

I am delighted with my eye sight following Bilateral Cataracts performed by Mr Andre Litwin. Both procedures went very smoothly and all of the staff in every department were very kind and caring. Mr Litwin calmly reassured me every step of the way during both procedures. I was very anxious before the first procedure and accepted an oral sedative but I was not nervous before the second but took the sedative! Mr Litwin is a fantastic consultant. I have just received cataract surgery from him at the Nuffield at Brighton. He is friendly and approachable and explained exactly what would happen regarding the operation. I had a blatheroplasty carried out by Mr Litwin last week and couldn’t be more pleased. I was extremely nervous and he totally put me at ease. He explained what he was doing throughout the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. The two nurses were extremely kind and held my hand when I became anxious.
