Reviews
Mr. Nakhla personifies all that a doctor should be. The follow up visit for a metatarsal fracture was unhurried, in a relaxed and informative environment with eye contact that sadly seems missing in too many GP/doctor visits today. He put me at ease over concerns I had where a GP had prescribed alendronic acid (Mr. Nakhla assured me that my bone density scan results at this time are not indicative that I need to have this prescription). A (unexpected) follow up letter of said visit gave details discussed. I would have given Mr Nakhla a 100 percent score but the letter said it was my first metatarsal whereas it was in fact my fifth :).
Only met Mr.Nakhla twice, once after being admitted unwell and the second time for a consultation about my hips. I found him to be helpful and friendly and willing to discuss my problem and future treatment.
Very welcoming , easy to talk to , quick follow up telephone consultations after x rays e.tc. Clear discussion on recommended treatment , which was quickly completed
On meeting Mr Nakhla at the first consultation, he has been the most pleasant and caring gentleman.
The operation went so smoothly with no problems.
I can recommend Mr Nakhla and his team, to anybody who maybe concerned over their upcoming op
I received a total hip replacement on March 27th 2024 performed by Mr. Amgad Nakhla at the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow. I cannot praise Mr. Nakhla enough. He is a brilliant orthopaedic surgeon, and from my first meeting with him he filled me with complete confidence. I was not disappointed. He was always on hand to answer any questions that I might have, either on his mobile phone or via email to his personal assistant. I found the operation stress free and all the hospital staff professional, kind and helpful. After coming round from the operation it was truly wonderful to be virtually pain free after three long years of misery. The operation was performed during the afternoon of the 27th, and after an overnight stay, I was on my way back home to Beccles in Suffolk in less than 24hrs. Mr. Nakhla telephoned me soon after to check that all was well with me. I was prescribed and given pain killers from the Clementine Churchill hospital which I did not need to take, which was amazing. I would recommend Mr. Nakhla to anyone considering having a total hip replacement, in fact I have already done so.
