I had a deformed leg since a child which gradually wore my knee joint out. After much pain and increasing inability to walk far Mr Naklah gave me a total knee replacement. I can truly say his skill has transformed my life as after just 3 months I regularly walk 5 miles plus and can ride my bike again. Friends have noticed how my posture has improved and particularly I now have a straight leg! The scar is now almost invisible. I cannot thank this man enough, brilliant surgeon.

The advice, treatment and care I received was absolutely superb and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others. Having had an initial appointment on a Thursday to having my hip replaced the following Monday was nothing short of extraordinary and my recovery is exceeding my expectations - I am 90 next month!

I had 2 Unicompartmental knee replacements performed by Mr Nakhla on 17th March 2023 at 8.30 in the morning and by early evening on the same day I was walking with a support frame across the ward. After an overnight stay, Mr Nakhla visited me in the morning on the ward and I walked across the ward with crouches and then without crouches. I cannot thank Mr Nakhla enough for everything he has done for me and would highly recommend him to anyone considering or needing knee or hip surgery.

Mr Nakhla performed an intermedullary nailing operation on my left leg after a complex fracture. He was very helpful, caring and efficient at all times, before and after the operation in the hospital, and at my outpatients appointments. His care and attention has been exemplary and I would recommend him 100 percent. Shirley Church
