After my last mri scan I had an appointment to discuss results. I was in the room for no more than 30 seconds ,felt so rushed .Told nothing shown up in scan it’s a muscle issue and referred to a physio again .
Yet I’ve received a summary letter a couple of weeks later saying I have degeneration and after a long discussion regarding further management - if a long discussion is 30 seconds I’d hate to think what a short discussion is !

Dear Sir I recall seeing you and explaing that the MRI scan showed some degeneration only but nothing that needs surgery. It was a very busy NHS clinic with significant overbooking and you were the penultimate patient in that clinic if I remember correctly. I am sorry if you felt rushed as this was not my intention but we were all trying to be as efficient as possible. I am more than happy to see you again and explain everything again in detail if you wish so. As you can see, I have never had a negative review and I always do my best to ensure that all my patients are very satisfied. best wishes Amgad Nakhla
