I first met Mr Amgad Nakhla at my initial consultation on the 4th June 2025 and was immediately impressed with his professionalism, friendliness, positivity and enthusiasm. He listened closely to my description of my right hip problem and the pain caused, not just in the hip joint but also the referred / residual pain elsewhere in my body, including the lower back, and legs. After discussing the process in detail I had no hesitation in agreeing and authorising him to carry out the operation. After a comprehensive pre-operation assessment on the 24th June I was scheduled to have the operation on the 16th July 2025, Naturally I was nervous but he took the time before the operation to come and see me and explain the exact timetable and what to expect. He was like he was at our first meeting and filled me with confidence. The operation was a brilliant success and afterwards I was amazed how small the operation scar was. He called in again the following day to see me and to enquire how I was, It is now 7 weeks since my operation and I'm really pleased with the outcome - pain free and getting back to full normality by the day. I met Mr Nakhla again on the 26th August for my post operation meeting and again he was as before -very professional, and easy to talk and willingly answered my questions and gave me more advice on how to achieve a full recovery and avoid problems. A brilliant surgeon and an amazingly engaging person - I can't recommend him highly enough.
