Lovely man highly skilled. My cardiologist told me before I met Mr Bose 'if I needed a heart operationI would be very pleased for Mr Bose to perform it'.
How right he was.
I had my operation in 2018.
I have seen some big scars on peoples chests, mine is hardly noticable at all.
If I ever need an operation again I hope Mr Bose is available.
I was admitted to Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the 23rd of November 2020, after arriving in an ambulance with blue lights and sirens, once the innitial heart problem was resolved and I was to meet my Consultant Mr Bose and he informed me that I was still under another senior Consultant from my previous Heart Attacks, I advised him that I would rather stay under his care and I was right as he carried out a triple bypass an d a valve replacement procedure on me.
At Seventy years of age I have recently returned back to work as an electrician in my own Business of Fifty Years, without Mr Bose and his knowledge and full dedication I wouldn't be able to continue. I am Eternally Greatfull for everything that he has done and in the manner in which he conducted himself was second to none.
Thank You

We met with Mr Bose to discuss what would happen when my husband would have his double heart bypass, we were obviously anxious, but Mr Bose explained clearly and concisely giving us a detailed explanation of how the operation would go, he made sure we understood everything he told us and would draw diagrams to show us exactly what he would do. He was warm and charming with a good sense of humour and a lovely smile, 3 Months on my husband is going through the reabilitation program and even been to the driving range . Thank you Mr Bose for giving my husband an extended life.
Took some time to find Mr Bose at interview level but well worth the suspense. Now due to his wonderful expertise I am back from the near dead with flawless legs and a very smooth slice down the chest. I hope he remains in Blackpool until he retires. K Morley
Less than 24 hours after a cardiac arrest, I was in Preston Royal Infirmary facing a triple bypass operation. Before this, I didn’t know I had a heart problem, had never been in hospital and was terrified.
I was expecting to meet Mr Bose at his Outpatients Clinic there, but he took the trouble to come up to the Cardiac Unit to see me. I was in total panic, but Mr Bose has a wonderful smile and calm confidence which was very reassuring. He answered my questions in a way that I could understand. Between deciding to go ahead, and the surgery itself at Blackpool Victoria Hospital a week later, I was surprisingly calm ~ mostly because of Mr Bose’s manner.
The operation went well; Mr Bose saved my life. When he visited me on the ward afterwards, his caring manner was evident, and it was obvious that he enjoys his work.
At my follow-up appointment, I wanted to ask something specific about the way my particular procedure was done. The Registrar phoned Mr Bose, who, towards the end of what must have been a busy day for him, was happy to come to talk to me. He brought up my pre-op angiogram on the screen and spent about a quarter of an hour explaining, again with a smile, exactly what he’d done to correct my problems.
Mr Bose is a lovely person as well as a highly skilled cardiac surgeon.
