I attended the BMI hospital in Lincoln recently for a rotator cuff operation,which was done by Mr Yewlett and his team,the op.was very successful and the aftercare was excellent.I like to also thank the physiotherapist Carla Walker for all of her help and advice.

I was referred to Mr Yewlett for shoulder pain, he diagnosed my problem swiftly and gave me an injection on my first appointment which saved further hospital visits. He is extremely professional and explained everything very clearly. His assistant nurse (Nicky I think ) was also very professional and supportive. I felt very reassured throughout my visit and cannot rate Mr Yewlett highly enough.

I had an ongoing problem with my shoulder and had had two injections into the joint by my local GP. This helped temporarily but did not really cure the problem of acute pain and restricted movement of the joint. I was referred to Mr Yewlett who investigated the problem, discussed it with me and then clearly explained the options available. We then agreed a plan of action. Now, six months later, after a targeted/accurately administered injection, I have regained full joint movement with rare minor pain, and without requiring an operation. I can highly recommend Mr Yewlett's professionalism and skill and I appreciate the way that he and his team helped me overcome the problem with my shoulder.

I have consulted Mr Alun Yewlett since early this year, regarding problems and pain I have with my right shoulder and neck following a fall last autumn. He shows genuine interest and concern about my condition and has done everything he possibly could to help as quickly as he can. This has included arranging x-rays and a scan for detailed diagnosis, which he takes time to explain very carefully. He does not rush : he listens and answers all my questions and concerns in a very calm and clear way. I think he is a very caring consultant and I am glad I am his patient. I would highly recommend him to others.
