Alun has gained great expertise in operating on ruptured tendons. He did a fantastic job of mending my distil bicep tendon within the recommended 3 week period. I have made a very good recover and I am very happy with his work.

Mr Yewlett is very easy to talk to and discuss the issues you are having, he listens and understands and makes a plan of action that best suits the patients. He offered me to remain on his surgery waiting list or to go on a pooled list to be seen for surgery quicker if I wished. (I remained on his list) I was called within a few weeks of seeing him for my consultation and he had an availability for surgery within days of the call. He is highly professional and would recommend him to anyone.

I have never been in hospital for any form of operation, I found Mr Yewlett to be very open and honest in his expectations and results and was able to allay my significant fears of the operation and the future, his team were also very good and appeared to have the same attitude and exude the same total confidence. Mr Yewlett has the ability to explain the procedure and aftercare in terms that I was easily able to understand.

From beginning to the end of my care Dr Yewlett and other members of staff made me feel very at ease, I had put my operation of for a while but if I new then what I new now I would had not have done..All went extremely well and I would recommend anyone to this hospital, thank you too all that cared for me.

Mr Yewlett is a very caring, thoughtful professional with huge experience. He did a reverse shoulder replacement for me 5 weeks ago which has already improved my quality of life by 100%. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Yewlett as someone that will take the time to understand your particular needs.
