I presented quite late with Distal rupture on my bicep after a motorcycle mishap - I was referred to Alun Yewlett after a quick appointment with BMI doctor, and he was able to see me within the next day. I have to say Alun is very knowledgable and friendly and explained the injury - and what would be possible to correct the injury. I presented late, primarily due to circumstances and travel plans - however Alun was straight on the ball , and arranged for treatment within a couple of days I have to say Alun and his secretary made arrangements for surgery very proficiently and speedy. Alun arranged every thing within a few hours - ! On the evening of surgery Alun explained every thing and reinforced his expectations that the outcome would be good and I could expect in time a good recovery and use of my arm and extent of movement back to how it was. Aftercare was arranged by Alun and at all times I felt very confident in my treatment - and the advice he provided . Full and comprehensive physio was arranged by Alun and I have to say I owe a big dept of gratitude to Mr Yewlett and the team of post op care and afterwards I would recommend Alun Yewlett without a moments hesitation for matters requiring Orthopedic issues - I have provided a separate feed back on the Weymouth Street Hospital where my surgery was conducted by Alun - again the treatment was first class.
