It really is difficult to put into words how brilliant my experience & care with Mr Platt has been. From my initial consultation I knew that he was the right fit for me. He listened and understood my problem and carefully explained the options which would be available to me and what would achieve the best results for me.At no point in the process was he pushy, he was happy for things to go at a pace that suited me. After previously having had a negative experience with a different surgeon elsewhere I was very nervous but Mr Platts manner is so cheerful, calm and kind and his experience shone through. He made me feel fully at ease and confident that I had made the right decision The results that Mr Platt has achieved for me from my surgery I am completely blown away with. He really is an expert at his craft and I have a confidence within my body now that I never imagined I would have again thanks to him. In July 2023 I had an open rhinoplasty (removal of dorsal hump and refinement of tip) under the care of Dr Alastair Platt at St Hugh Hospital Grimsby. My first consultation with Mr. Platt was purely to understand my options and the potential outcomes. Mr. Platt was attentive to my vision and explained the different procedures and the pros and cons for each one. I was given literature to read on the procedures and several website links containing information about Mr. Platts’ work and consequent reviews. I had a second consultation some months later, after considerable research. Mr. Platt explained the procedure I had chosen in detail to ensure I had a full understanding of the procedure and the potential risks and outcomes. My expectations were managed in a polite and professional manner. Fast forward a few months to the day of the procedure, Mr. Platt discussed the procedure and after care and gave me the time needed to answer any queries or concerns, I had. He made me feel at ease and that I was in good hands. Fast forward a few more months, post procedure and WOW Mr. Platt accomplished the most amazing results. The pain was minimal, the scars are elegant and the after care has been supportive and uncompromised.
