I cannot thank Mr Parbhoo enough for my transformation from constant pain to pain free. He was so calm and totally listened to my rambling explanation of the strange things I was experiencing in my jaw. At no time did he ever tell me it couldn’t happen. He was very clear about what could potentially happen following the surgery, however I have ended up with his best case scenario! Which is amazing. Following my referral to him with a ‘suggested ‘ solution, Mr Parbhoo did his own investigations and found the issue to be different and for that he should be commended. I’m not going to lie and say it all happened quickly and I wish it had all been speedier however, I understand this was as I was in the NHS system and not private.

The star rating against my review will only allow 5 stars but Mr Parbhoo is worth so many more. I was referred to him in September of this year through Bedford Hospital for a large Odontogenic Keratocyst. It had been a very difficult time in my life and I am a super anxious person but he has helped me get through it. I had researched Alan an awful lot, even before my first consultation with him. I knew he was the top Maxillofacial surgeon in the UK, if not one of. From my first meeting with Alan I completely trusted him, he is a caring, kind and a very calm man. Alan went out of his way for me by bringing my operation date forward as I was so anxious it was making me ill and it was pretty urgent. He also knew how important my number “7” tooth was to me and somehow he has left this in place – Amazing!! The surgery with him went very well. At this stage I am still in early recovery but he has given me an outcome that I could have only dreamed of. I am forever grateful to him and all his team at Bedford and Luton & Dunstable Hospital.

I saw Mr Parbhoo at Bedford Hospital today following a dental referral.. I found him extremely professional in his approach and following an initial discussion of history and symptoms he conducted an examination and shared that with his trainee doctors. I found him very easy to talk with and he clearly spoke of an interim diagnosis and a way forward with an initial scan to confirm diagnosis. He also discussed methods to alleviate the symptoms should they return and potential surgery should that prove necessary with a timeline for treatment. My mind was set at rest and I thank Mr Parbhoo for his care and attention to detail, very patient centric !!
