I have only just found out about this website, and wanted to add information on Mr Sofat who I saw around 2008, then again in 2013. It was a great pleasure to visit , he has a wonderful manner, completely understanding and responsive, extremely experienced. Despite the considerable number of patients he must have had between 2008 and 2013 when I re-attended 5 years after the first set of visits it was almost like he remembered me personally, he remembered more from my first set of visits than i did , he clearly had taken the trouble to thoroughly re-familiarise himself with my notes and scans prior to my attendance. Also, rather than jump into surgery which was an option on both occasions that medical insurance would have paid, he gave a very balanced, tending away from surgery opinion as to the best way ahead,. I completely trust his judgement and medical opinion from a lay persons point of view and would have complete confidence in his very helpful and considerate medical advice and professional opinion.
