Having had a number of recent eye operations after 13 years without issues, any worry or trepidation I had about my situation has been nullified by Mr Benson’s approach, communication, honesty & professionalism since I came under his care. From checkups to surgery, I have felt totally at ease & have had complete trust in Mr Benson. An absolutely perfect example of what a patient would want in a Doctor & I feel privileged to have experienced it.

He completed his undergraduate degree in music and biochemistry at Vassar College, USA before undertaking graduate medicine at Imperial College, London. His elective in ophthalmology was undertaken in Bloemfontein, South Africa before starting his ophthalmology training in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. He completed his specialty training in Yorkshire, including sub-specialty training in vitreo-retinal surgery in Leeds.
