I was referred to Mr Toma by Prof David Choi regarding a VP shunt. From my first meeting with Mr Toma to my follow up appointments, Mr Toma has been reassuring and explaining the details of my operation and care in a way that was very easy for me to understand. Mr Toma was very person centered and communicated clearly with my son who has a learning disability. My son felt listened to and that he was able to have his voice heard. He felt that decision making was shared and that Mr Toma expressed kindness and empathy through his approach.
