Mr Dabbagh could not have done any more to put my mother at total ease despite being a nervous patient. Both procedures were professionally conducted by a warm, friendly and caring doctor, supported by a great team. Thank you Mr Dabbagh and all the staff at the Royal Eye Unit at Kingston Hospital!

Over the last year my young daughter was suffering from a skin condition that meant she kept getting infections close to her eyes, the first of these infections that was very serious led us to The Royal Eye Unit in Kingston hospital and to Mr Dabbagh. From the first time we met him I had no doubt that his primary interest was in my daughter's care. Every time we went to see him, which was mainly through non scheduled appointments, he made time for us. Further to his attentiveness to my daughter he kept her in mind so that when he attended a conference and they mentioned an unlicensed treatment for her condition that was being trialled in America he organised for her to be given said treatment. The medicine worked and her recovery was miraculous! I had greatly feared that she would have terrible scarring from the recurrent infections she had on her face but due to Mr Dabbagh's intervention in her care there are very few visible marks. The NHS is a wonderful thing but, due to the sheer load of medical staff's work, you can, at times, feel like a number. I was never made to feel like my daughter was a number to Mr Dabbagh or the wonderful doctors in the Royal Eye Unit. What more do you want when you child is ill? Thank you, thank you, thank you

I was slightly concerned when having my left cataract done that the doctor working with Dr Dabbagh appeared to be a trainee doctor doing some of the procedure. I don't mind this but I think it would have helped to have been told that fact at the beginning especially as the left cataract seemed to take longer and at times was very slightly painful than the right one.

Mr Dabbagh performed my cataract surgery at Kingston Hospital. I am thrilled with the result. I never expected to be able to see so well again. His manner was both professional and friendly. He also had an excellent team to assist him. Although they were all very busy I never felt rushed.
