Mr Barnett looked after me years ago and was amazing throughout a cyst removal and the birth of my daughter who came early. I could not have asked for a more sensitive, compassionate, professional Doctor whose bed side manner put most Dr's to shame. He really listened and was very informative and knowledgeable.
He didn't hide painful truths from me, but told me with compassion and sincere care from one human being to another. He made extra special efforts to come be with me when daughter was born early despite not being a private paying patient any more and coming up on NHS for birth, but as he had been my gynaecologist and operated on me twice before, he made a special visit to advise and make sure that my daughter was born safely, for which I am eternally grateful for his continuity of care.
If only the rest of the medical profession could learn from such a wonderfully warm, professional and humane Doctor, who didn't let his title go to his head. Decent guy and looked after us well.
