I have have for a number of years considered eye lid surgery due to the excess skin I had on my eye lids. I think choosing to have surgery for anything is a scary thought, but this was made so much easier by the the relaxed and friendly approach of Adam Sawyer, and his lovely secretary Claire. Everything was made so easy and straightforward. They made me feel valued and listen too, not just another patient with a procedure to be done, but a person with real concerns. Despite being in a covid period, they managed to arrange a time and date for the procedure which suited me and my work. They even persuaded me to consider having the procedure under local, which was not only cheaper but quicker too. Im really glad I listened as it was so easy, the only discomfort was having the local put in, and then of course everything was numb in my eye area. Both Adam and the nurses talked to me through out the procedure and helped me to relax.. Straight after the procedure I could get up and walk, and of course look in the mirror. The difference was amazing and I have allowed Adam to have pictures if anyone wanted to see the immediate result. I was given antibiotic cream to put on my eyes to promote healing and had clear written instructions to go home with and a contact number if I needed further advice of had concerns. I have now had my follow up appointment, and am waiting for my final one in 6 months, although if was made clear to me that I could book an appointment at any time if I was worried about anything. I completely recommend both Adam and Claire to anyone who is considering having this procedure. I am delighted with the results which have on only taken years off me but also increase my field of vision.
