Dr Adam Donne performed a sistrunk operation on my 4yr old daughter yesterday to remove a thyroglossal cyst. The original surgeon had to go home sick and we are so fortunate that Mr Donne came to perform the surgery. What a fantastic, lovely, caring surgeon. I was so upset and worried and Mr Donne was very reassuring and he came straight out to see me as soon as the operation was finished to tell me my daughter was doing just great and explained everything. I can not recommend Mr Donne highly enough and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his kindness and fantastic care shown to my daughter Anabelle and myself.

My baby was brought over from the women's to alder hey as her nose was totally blocked bilateral coanal asteria we met with Adam donne not long after we arrived and felt reassured straight away he had her in theatre not long after had scans and other examinations she spent a few days in high dependency after her op where she was looked after amazingly she was them moved onto a ward she did go through so much as her little nose kept closing back over so has needed quite a lot of operations to re open her nose nothing was ever to much trouble for Adam he just made us feel r little baby was his only patient and cared so much about her she did come home after around a month but needed to go back often to start of with then it got further apart for around a year and now she is a happy little 2 year old no different from any other u would never believe she had ever had anything wrong with her Adam still sees her in clinic to check its all still going well but all I can say I thankyou so much Adam donne and all in alder hey who looked after our baby alder hey are very lucky to have u u are amazing at what u do and just how you are xx

Today Adam Donne performed an operation on my 10 year old son. My son has a rare condition that took away his voice. I have not heard my son's natural voice in 8 years till today. I actually cried when my boy opened his mouth to speak.. and speak he did!! Wow just wow! Adam did today what other surgeon's said they would not do.. Adam never hesitated.. this man is pure skill! Dam he is good at what he does! If you are operated on by this man you are truly blessed!

Mr A Donne is a truly wonderful surgeon cannot fault him one little bit. My son has been in he's care for 3 YEARS now at Alder Hey and has supported us every step of the way. My son would not be with us today if it wasn't for this man we can't thank him enough for all the hard work he's done. He always has time to listen and always asks if there is anything you need to talk about and has lots of respect for the children and parents. I can honestly say me and my family are extremely grateful for all that he has done for my son
