Follow up at fracture clinic two weeks following surgery and Mr Ullah is pleased with outcome. Plaster removed and removable wrist splint applied. Instructions very clearly given on what to do and expect now. Two days later I have managed to wash hair with both hands, hot brush it, apply mascara also 90% able to clean teeth with right hand and only directional help from left all of this without the splint/minimal discomfort. Thank you Mr Ullah for giving me my mobility back see you in four weeks.

Great doctor I was booked for repair of broken wrist on 16/9/21. Anaesthetist plumped for nerve block due to history of bronchiectasis so was awake the whole time. Lots of banter and information as to progress from Mr Ullah and as we had both worked at Glenfield Hospital plenty of reminiscing. All details of what to expect were clearly explained and the procedure itself went very smoothly. Mr. Ullah explained to me what he had done before I was taken to recovery. Felt totally informed during the whole procedure and would recommend anyone considering Mr Ullah for surgery too do so.

Broken wrist. Treated first at Kettering. Absolute disaster. Transferred to Mr Ullah. More surgery. My wife regained full use of wrist.

Went to see Dr Ullah privately. He dismissed my hand symptoms as nothing and that everything was normal with the exception of some minor weakness, which he failed to include in his subsequent report. His report actually made it more difficult for me to get other healthcare professionals to take me seriously. I've since been to the Pulvertaft Centre in Derby, who are excellent and are real 'experts' in hand conditions who have clearly identified weakness, subluxing, muscle loss etc in my hands. I found the whole experience frustrating and annoying, being brushed off when there was clearly an issue with my hands.
