I saw Mr Sheen who confirmed I had a double sports hernia which could be effectively treated using key hole surgery.
I was a day care patient and following the successful operation I was walking and exercising within moderation the next day without pain or discomfort. Within a week I was driving, back at work and even playing tennis 10 days after the operation!
I did make sure I followed the physio's recommended exercises which I am sure speeded up the recovery time.
