I had my sons circumcision done at the Thornhill Clinic by Dr Khan, and I have to say everything was perfect from start to finish. They had all the relevant procedures in place to prevent any spread of germs. Dr Khan explained the procedure and aftercare brilliantly and made both myself and my husband feel comfortable and have full trust in Dr Khan to conduct the procedure on our son. All the staff were brilliant! I strongly recommend doctor Khan and Thornhill clinic.

Dr. Khan was absolutely wonderful. As first time parents we were quite worried about what to expect in terms of the procedure and aftercare. Dr. Khan was extremely thorough in his explanation and did an excellent job of putting us at ease. He explained step by step the exact aspects of post treatment care for our baby, what our roles were and what to expect from baby, which made the entire aftercare situation significantly easier to handle.

I had previously seen a top dermatologist who had diagnosed Lichen Sclerosus on the foreskin, and which was spreading. After following exhaustive treatment with a potent steroid cream, he determined that the best way to clear this condition and stop it progressing was by circumcision. I contacted Mr Khan after extensive research, including the Health Unlocked website. This was in mid 2020 during the pandemic. I had an initial consultation with Mr Khan via Whatsapp and decided to proceed at the Thornhill Centre in Luton. I travelled up from the South coast with my partner on the day, and returned the same day. I had already discussed with Mr Khan the best style of cut considering my medical condition. He recommended circumcision with removal of the frenulum, the aim being to keep the glans area as dry as possible in future to deter LS. Although I was understandably a little nervous on the day, Mr Khan put me at ease with his calm professional manner. The same went for his assistant. I had a glue circumcision with a few anchoring stitches under the skin. I had a low medium cut, and the look is very pleasing and discreet, with no visible stitch marks at all, just an extremely neat join of outer and inner skin. The circumcision was over in less than an hour and I received clear aftercare instructions before I left. The foreskin was sent for histology as is good practice, and which subsequently confirmed LS. I did contact Mr Khan subsequently by Whatsapp just to check that the wound was healing correctly. He put my mind at rest and made recommendations to me. Once past the initial recovery period of a few weeks, once things had calmed down, I could see just how neat a job he had done, exactly as hoped for. I am extremely pleased with Mr Khan's work and strongly recommend him. For those considering a circumcision as an adult, it is important to find out as much as you can about the best procedure, style, surgeon, and recovery period, including a consultation in advance to give you time to think about questions in advance of the operation itself.

When deciding to have the operation, I was of course cautious of choosing the right doctor and facility. I cant recommend Dr Khan enough, and am so glad I made this choice. He has been 1st class throughout, especially post opp, where he has answered any questions I’ve had quickly. Exceptionally good customer service and customer experience.
