Hi Thank you for the feedback. I would firstly like you know that we are now paperless and so we do not carry notes any more. In the digital world we now have all the information online so no more bulky notes! I do therefore read aloud from the screen to confirm that I have the correct information on the system and that I am dealing with the right patient to avoid mix-up with names etc. I gave you the results that I obtained on the phone as they had not yet been received in my office. I agree I may have passed this information to you immediately as I don't like to withhold good news even for a minute. I was just as happy as you to receive the confirmation that your lesion was benign ie non cancerous. I am sorry if I did not explain the findings fully. You rightly asked for more information which I hope I provided.
