I came with mastitis that I have had for 2 weeks. The doctor tried to massage it which I said I have been doing for some time now and it was very painful and told me to just massage more and increase the dose of antibiotics prescribed by the GP. only after that she sent me for the ultrasound where I found out that it was actually an abscess and should not be massaged and that I probably need different antibiotics. Please do the full examination before advising and hurting a patient.
