I would thoroughly recommend Miss Waheed to anyone that has the misfortune to be told that they have the dreaded 'C'. From my first consultation with her I felt at ease with her great bedside manner and knowledge. Miss Waheed took the time to explain my options and answer any questions that I had. I came away from the consultation feeling positive about my treatment plan. Miss Waheed is very caring, calm, and professional and I have every confidence in her as a surgeon.

Miss Waheed took the time to listen and go over my mothers question regarding her operation. To be told that you have breast cancer is devastating enough but to be told what your options are can be very overwhelming as my mother and our family felt. Before the operation my mother still felt she needed to go over things that were going around in her head . She contacted Miss Waheeds helpful Secretary Mandy who without hesitation booked my mother in to see Miss waheed in clinic before the operation to go over the things that were worrying her. Miss Waheed never at any time made my mother feel that she was wasting her time and answered and went over all the things that were worrying her. The day of the operation Miss Waheed came to see my mother and reassured her and made her feel she was in good hands. After the operation she came to us to inform us of how the operation went . Throughout this whole experience we have had nothing but good things to say about the care my mother has received from Miss Waheed and her team and all the staff at East Surrey hospital.
