Not only does this lovely lady work miracles every day, she's also sensitive, straightforward and reassuring in the most difficult of circumstances. She performed brain surgery on my 15-year-old sister and was a star throughout, from explaining in clear and simple terms what exactly she would be doing and all the possible outcomes, to the surgery itself and then the aftercare. Her air of capability and confidence immediately inspired a feeling in me that my sister would be in the best possible hands, and she has proven this feeling right beyond doubt.

I would just like to thank sasha burns and dr Appleton for there amazing work they are truly amazing people and we can't thank them enough.My son was referred to sasha burns with a cavernoma and she explained the procedure to us and safely removed them my 13 year old son is doing great and words will never say how greatful we all are for there amazing work.

Miss Burns will be operating on my daughter in may when she is born as she has Myleomeningocele spina-bifida, we first met sasha st Liverpool womens hospital and the way she explained everything was absoloutly amazing as at that point it was still very hard for me and my husband to take everything in. She was such a lovely, straight talking woman I completely trust her with my daughters life :) xx

I cannot recommend Miss Burn and her team highly enough my son has just had surgery at Alder Hey Children's Hospital to remove a fused suture in his skull and all went well. Miss Burn answered all our questions and concerns in detail in easy to understand terms points were clarified if requested and she was available to speak with us upon request. Miss Burn and her team spent a lot of time making sure my son was comfortable post op and understood that as he is only 3 months old we were concerned about his pain relief. Excellent is the only way i can describe Miss Burn and her team.
