Having received the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer and feeling utter despair, along came Sascha and gave me hope.
Throughout my treatment Sascha has been kind, reassuring and even managed to make me laugh - something I wouldn't have thought possible during chemo!
She has supported me and my family throughout and is always happy to answer any questions, no matter how small or trivial. I always came away from consultations feeling confident and positive and fully understanding my treatment plan.
Her skill as a surgeon is amazing and I can look in the mirror with confidence!
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

sascha was fantastic helping me through my masectomy and follow up operations. She was caring, calm and personable. She ensured I was kept fully informed and I couldn't have asked for a better consultant. Great to know that when it counts, you get a brilliant committed consultant.

On meeting Sascha I was put completely at ease by her professionalism and her superb 'bedside manner'. At a time when I felt bewildered and anxious Sacha and her team could not have done more. The care I received was faultless which made a difficult time as painless as it could have possibly been. I would like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to Sascha and the breast care team at the Nuffield, Brentwood.

I felt totally confident with Miss Dua and she made me feel she had known me a long time. Her breast care nurse is a delight and between them must give patients total confidence whatever their outcome. I don't see how any improvements could be made on the care they give.

Sascha Dua FRCS MD is a Consultant Breast Surgeon with specialist training in Oncoplastics, Breast reconstruction and a further higher specialism in cosmetics. Sascha went to medical school at Guys and St Thomas's (University of London) and undertook her higher surgical training at leading centres including 4 years at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she won a scholarship to undertake a doctorate as the first surgical scientist at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, reknowned for its work on the BRCA2 gene and cancer genetics. Sascha was awarded the prestigious Raven Prize in Academic surgery for research in 2007, and has been a specialised breast consultant since 2011 in Mid Essex Hospitals Trust.
