I am currently under the care of Sascha Dua for lobular breast cancer . From diagnosis to surgery i have been delighted with the care i have received . Sascha is a very personable Consultant who manages to put patients & their family at ease during a very stressful time . Her communication skills are excellent & she will often go above and beyond to keep you informed of results , or simply to check on how you are & your progress . I am also delighted with the outcome of my surgical procedure & I would highly recommend Sascha to anyone who is going through a similar difficult time .

I decided to explant at the age of 52 having had my implants in nearly 20 years. I was extremely nervous and apprehensive about the whole procedure especially the uplift I knew I would need. After meeting with several other surgeons, ( none of whom instilled the right level of confidence ) it was Sasha that stood out from the crowd.
From my pre-op consultation all the way through to post op care, Sascha has been an absolute legend!
She explained the entire process with an easy going bedside manner and filled me with nothing but confidence.
I’m so pleased with my new fabulous , natural breasts, and the whole process that led to them that I have already recommended Sascha to a number of friends , two of which are booked in later this year .
As others have said, I only wish I’d met Sascha years ago. !!

Sascha is a fantastic surgeon, champion of women and human. Straight speaking, fun and always there. She has been there and continues to be there on my journey. I would have her do my surgery again in a heartbeat. She brings her warmth and humour to you. I can’t speak highly enough of her. She particularly has guided me wonderfully through the process and procedures as they unfold.

Sascha Dua FRCS MD is a Consultant Breast Surgeon with specialist training in Oncoplastics, Breast reconstruction and a further higher specialism in cosmetics. Sascha went to medical school at Guys and St Thomas's (University of London) and undertook her higher surgical training at leading centres including 4 years at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she won a scholarship to undertake a doctorate as the first surgical scientist at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, reknowned for its work on the BRCA2 gene and cancer genetics. Sascha was awarded the prestigious Raven Prize in Academic surgery for research in 2007, and has been a specialised breast consultant since 2011 in Mid Essex Hospitals Trust.
