I was taken ill suddenly with a perforated bowel and spent 16 days in Heybridge Ward (A303). The care I received was amazing, everyone was so kind and caring. Rebecca performed my surgery and I had complete faith in her, despite feeling frightened. Her and Gemma Blackbeard kept me informed at all times what was happening, they answered my questions honestly. They were encouraging, kind, caring, compassionate, honest and reassuring. Although I felt very ill I felt safe that Rebecca was in charge of my care and treatment. I will need to return in 12 months time for a small operation. This time I will not have any fears knowing that I'll be in her safe hands. She is an amazing lady. Thank you Rebecca.
