Ms Radhika Rampat carried out my cataract operation at DSU ( Edgware ) on 08/04/24.Her calm demeanour, skill and expertise resulted in a positive outcome and an excellent recovery for me I felt very safe under her care Her communication skills and professionalism is exemplary

I was very fortunate to be a patient of Dr Radhika Rampat, consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Royal Free Hospital, London.
Despite a junior doctors strike taking place at the time, she was so professional, courteous, fast-acting, organised and reassuring. I’m so grateful to her and would highly recommend this doctor.

I have been under the care of Miss Rampat for just under a year now. When I first started, Miss Rampat took time and care to understand my history and my concerns. She then explained the latest thinking on my condition and gave me links to online resources, to find out more about it. She prepared a comprehensive treatment plan and explained each stage of the plan. Miss Rampat has been following the treatment plan and appointments have been made for me. The care I have received has been truly excellent.

Dr. Radhika has been absolutely amazing and instrumental in both my physical recovery, as well as emotional reassurance and well-being. She was extremely attentive and thorough in her assessment and the treatment plan she provided ensured very quick results. She is a brilliant doctor who has been fantastic all throughout what has been a very stressful and difficult journey concerning my eyes.

is an Ophthalmic Surgeon based at the Royal Free London NHS Trust and Associate Director of the RSA global fellowship network as part of the World College of Refractive Surgery.
Miss Rampat has excellent patient and colleague feedback. Having trained at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London medical school, she showed an early interest in ophthalmology and organised a research placement at The Wilmer Eye institute, Johns Hopkins, USA.
After completing her run-through training in the highly competitive North London Deanery Training Programme, Miss Rampat completed a unique research fellowship at the Rothschild Foundation Hospital (Paris) with Dr Damien Gatinel. This was followed by two years of competitive sub-specialty fellowship training in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital (London) whilst being Chief Fellow both years.
Miss Rampat is the author of the Cornea Guidelines within the Moorfields Emergency Guidelines App and is an editing consultant for www.defeatkeratoconus.com. She has several articles published in her areas of interest and has written three book chapters awaiting publication.
Miss Rampat specialises in Anterior Segment Surgery including corneal transplants, cataract surgery, glaucoma and refractive surgery, with a special research interest in Artificial Intelligence in Ophthalmology.
