Miss Rolph has a natural gift for explaining complex medical procedures in a calm and clear manner which gives reassurance and security to her patients. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, Miss Rolph helped her understand the diagnosis clearly and face the months ahead with serenity. We will forever be grateful.

Dr Rolph is softly spoken, kind and supportive. I was diagnosed with cancer, and the news was given with sensitivity and care. She gave me time to process the information she had given me and listened attentively, when I spoke. She was extremely patient when I stumbled over my words (due to emotion) and answered my questions clearly, then checked I understood. Everything has been explained to me in terms I understand. enabling me to have a clear view of the road ahead. Dr Rolph and the nurse with her (sorry forgotten her name), as well as all the staff at the breast screening unit at the Princess Anne Hospital have made me feel that I am in the safest of hands. I have been made to feel that they have all the time in the world for me. I feel that I am the only lady ever to have had breast cancer, as the care and attention I have been given is phenomenal! What an amazing team! Thank you x

When I had my first consultation with miss Rolph , she immediately make me feel comfortable and supported. She was very kind spoken and really kind to me. On examination she made me feel safe and comfortable. She had great communication and explained anbout my fibroadenoma and surgery in great detail which made me at ease. The day of my surgery she came to see me and her other patients to ensure we were all comfortable with what was going to happen that day. I felt really well looked after from start to finish on the day of my surgery and Dr Rolph came to check on me in recovery to ensure that I was settled and comfortable. Overall miss Rolph has been the nicest doctor I’ve seen and I wouldn’t choose anyone else to have seen my case from start to finish. I am happy with how my surgery site has turned out and she did a great job!

What can I honestly say about Rachel. Well, after working in Oncology myself for the past 17 years, I have come across many excellent healthcare professionals, BUT Rachel, is a league of her own. Her wonderful caring manner, (to start with), made me feel completely at ease from the get go. When delivering my diagnosis (DCIS) she delivered it in a way, that it was almost easy to accept. She explain everything, and drew diagrams easily explaining what was going on. I had total faith in her from the start. My surgery was faultless. I was looked after so well, and my excisions were so so neat, I barely noticed them, she is a very skilled surgeon. Then when I had to have a second surgery, (as the margins were not clear), she once again fitted me in as soon as she could, and again my surgery was faultless.I honestly cant thank her enough. She spoke to my husband and myself in the most professional, but friendly and caring way, we could have chatted with her for hours. I hope Rachel continues with her amazing work for many years to come, she is a wonderful asset to the NHS for sure. Please look after her too.
