Doctor Naquib was patronsing and spoke to me like a child, she didn't listen to anything I said and continuously spoke over me. She was more interested in teaching the student than communicating and reassuring the patients mother. She argued against everything I said and made me feel like a bad mum that my child hadn't reached certain milestones yet even though she was 4 weeks premature. In the end she made me cry and then had the cheek to start talking about post natal depression and suggested I go to the doctors to get some help because I already currently suffer with anxiety and depression yet it was her that made me upset! In the end I had to leave the room, I think this is appalling for a doctor that specialises in children and I most certainly will not be seeing her again.

I came to an appointment for my three month old baby. I found Dr Naquib to be rude, judgmental and abrupt. Considering I had to wait two months for the appointment as there were none available, I was then told that the issue he had obviously wasn't serious... even though the health visitor and his own GP thought it was. When sent the report of the outcome of the appointment, there was incorrect information as well as information I regard as private which bared no relevance to the appointment or the issue my son had. No need to overshare the information. I wasn't told to bring any medicines he may be on along to the appointment, naturally I assumed his medical record would be linked with the GP's one. But I was wrong and the doctor seemed to get annoyed because I had thought that, telling me "why didn't you bring it... his hospital file is different to the GP one". Not looking forward to seeing this doctor again!
